Exciting Locum Tenens Opportunity for Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Nevada Are you a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have a fantastic opening available near WELLS, NV, providing a unique chance to contribute to patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This short-term assignment offers an excellent work-life balance for a qualified physician.
The assignment is scheduled to commence on February 9, 2024, and will conclude on February 17, 2024. This locum tenens role focuses on call coverage, with an average of 3-4 patients per shift and 12 total beds in the department. The facility is open to multiple providers, fostering a collaborative environment. While hospital and surgery center privileges are not required, the facility does offer temporary privileges, making the onboarding process efficient.
The practice setting includes both outpatient and inpatient care, providing a diverse experience for the physician. The facility utilizes the MEDHOST EMR system for seamless record-keeping. The selected physician should be eligible for board certification, and while board certification is not mandatory, ACLS certification is required. The locum tenens physician will be an integral part of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, with an average of 375 deliveries per year.
The call responsibilities involve a beeper, with a call ratio of 1-3 and a 30-minute response time required.
