Description: K‑5 Elementary Teacher (Currently Assigned to 5th Grade) – J.G. Johnson ES

Schedule: 183 days, 7.0 hours per day

Funding Source: General Fund

Salary Range: $51,323 – $103,407

Job Goal: To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in an environment that prepares students for lives as informed and engaged citizens in a global society.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid Nevada Teaching License*
• Valid Nevada Driver’s License
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is required for physical education, special education, and career & technical education teaching assignments

Start Date: 2026‑2027 school year.

Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check and pass mandatory pre‑employment drug & alcohol testing.
