Job DescriptionDescription:
K‑5 Special Education Teacher, Tonopah ES, 150 days, 8.5 hours per day. Funding Source:
Special Education Fund. Salary Range: $51,323‑$103,407 (Job Description attached).
Job Goal: To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in an environment that prepares students for lives as informed and engaged citizens in a global society.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree.
- Valid Nevada Teaching License (reciprocity eligibility may vary by state).
- Valid Nevada Driver's License.
- CPR / First Aid / AED Certification required for physical, special, and career & technical education assignments.
- Must complete background check and pre‑employment drug & alcohol testing.
Start Date: 2026‑2027 school year.
Working ConditionsSuitable workspace to carry out functions of position description.
