Role OverviewWe are seeking a PCB Hardware Tester to support the design, testing, and validation of printed circuit boards for production and deployment. This role involves close collaboration with hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure PCB designs meet functional, quality, and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on exposure to PCB schematics, layout considerations, and hardware testing, with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to work in a fast‑paced, onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support schematic capture and component selection
, including processors, sensors, and supporting circuitry - Assist with PCB layout and routing activities
, including layer stack‑up, high‑speed signals, and differential pair routing - Perform hardware testing and validation of PCB assemblies to ensure functional accuracy and reliability
- Apply Design for Excellence (DFX) principles to ensure boards are manufacturable, testable, and compliant with EMI/EMC standards
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to address PCB constraints such as board size, mounting requirements, and 3D clearance
- Document test results, issues, and recommendations clearly and accurately
- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and rework of PCB designs as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate understanding of PCB design concepts and hardware testing
- Familiarity with schematic diagrams and electronic components
- Awareness of DFM, DFT, and EMI/EMC considerations
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Experience with PCB design or testing tools
- Exposure to high‑speed or mixed‑signal PCB environments
- Background in electronics, electrical engineering, or related technical discipline
