Overview
SNC’s Military Fellowship Program partners with Skill Bridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide up to six months of on‑the‑job industry training for active‑duty service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. Participants gain experience and build professional networks to prepare for full‑time civilian work.
Responsibilities- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment and systems.
- Ensure equipment and components meet established specifications.
Must be currently serving on active duty and eligible for the DoD Skill Bridge program.
- Associate’s degree in a related field (a higher degree may substitute for experience).
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency with standard laboratory test equipment, measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Previous experience or certifications within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other 3‑D CAD software.

Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
