Manufacturing Engineer (Nevada, MO)

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will collaborate with innovative teams around the world to drive cost, yield, and quality improvement. You will manage manufacturing change projects, support rapid resolution of customer complaints, perform capability assessments for new opportunities, create and maintain product/process documentation, and work across plant, division, and external resources to achieve objectives. Coverage of nights, weekends, and holidays may be required to support 24/7, 365 production.

• Lead manufacturing cost, product yield, and quality improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Value Stream methodologies.
• Lead local management of change projects with focus on communication, risk evaluation, and execution of process and product changes.
• Support rapid resolution of customer complaints; including timely response, and implementation and communication of corrective actions.
• Perform capability assessments for new opportunities.
• Create and maintain product/process documentation, including product/process specifications and test methods.
• Work with plant, division, and other internal and external resources as needed to accomplish objectives.
• Cover nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary, to support 24 hour/7 days a week, 365 days a year continuous manufacturing.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start).
• Experience on quality improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills to manage different priorities.
