Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day metallurgical operations of the heap leach pad, including ore stacking, solution application, and drain-down management

* Monitor and optimize leach recovery through reagent dosing, solution chemistry control, and drip emitter/sprinkler system management

* Conduct metallurgical test programs (column leach, bottle roll) and interpret results to inform operational decisions

* Develop and maintain metallurgical mass balances, recovery forecasts, and monthly performance reports for management and regulatory submissions

* Collaborate with mine planning and geology teams on ore characterization, grade control, and lift scheduling to maximize leach pad efficiency

* Support water management activities including process water balancing, tailings facility technical support, and water purification/evaporation functions

* Ensure compliance with environmental permits, site standards, and HSE requirements; participate in audits and regulatory inspections

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Process-related degree required

* Hands-on practical application and process optimization

* Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, and take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status required

* Proficiency in multiple software application and network platforms highly preferred

* Experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets programmatically is highly preferred

* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
