Customer Service Rep, Event Management & Planning
This position supervises the operation of the Cashier/Caesars Rewards area for an assigned shift. The role assists in implementing and administering the Caesars Rewards Program, provides customers with program information, supervises daily personnel activities, and performs related job duties as assigned. The supervisor directly oversees Cashier/Caesars Rewards Representatives and may execute their duties when needed.
Responsibilities- Assure a friendly and courteous attitude among team members toward customers on an assigned shift.
- Assist department team members in balancing their cash drawers at the start and end of their shift.
- Safeguard all inventory and equipment.
- Approve customer check cashing/casino credit within approved limits.
- Maintain required amounts of currency, coin, and house check inventories to meet team member and customer needs.
- Schedule Cashiers for breaks and routine duties.
- Handle guest complaints and discrepancies efficiently and courteously.
- Assist other departments with operational problems related to the Cashier/Caesars Rewards Department.
- Ensure the area operates in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Instruct team members in proper performance, conduct reviews, and provide continuous feedback.
- Inform team of pertinent information and coach when necessary.
- Master all duties of Cashiering and Caesars Rewards.
- Supervise day‑to‑day operation of the department.
- Assist in developing and administering training programs for personnel.
- Greet and welcome players; explain the Caesars Rewards program and provide collateral per guidelines.
- Develop and maintain data files on customers or prospective program members through CMS.
- Stay informed on all details of Harrah’s/Caesars Republic facilities to respond to inquiries.
- Assist in planning and executing player events to recognize and reward selected players.
- Complete administrative duties in a timely manner as assigned.
- Maintain Caesars Rewards Kiosk and Embossers throughout the property.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- One year of cashier and casino customer service experience required; computer input and prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication in English.
- Ability to qualify for, obtain, and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Excellent written communication skills in fluent English.
- Human relations and interpersonal skills when interacting with team members and guests.
- Leadership and motivation skills.
- Computer data entry/retrieval skills via keyboard.
- Composure and the ability to maintain excellent guest relations under all circumstances.
- Ability to memorize information about events, promotions, and services.
- Integrity and adherence to regulatory, company, and department policies.
- Acts as a role model, presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment, and encourages others.
- Physically capable of transporting full chip/token racks, coin cans, and coin sacks to and within the Cashier work area.
- Ability to push and move trolley carts.
- Capacity to walk, stand, talk, hear, maintain good vision, differentiate colors, lift and carry 20–55 pounds, and push up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Mobility to move about the casino and work area.
- Ability to reach, grasp, bend, squat, and push‑pull.
- Contact with the public requires working in a noisy environment and potential exposure to tobacco use; non‑public positions may require entry into public areas.
