The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is hiring a Full‑Time Budget Analyst, GS‑0560‑09 to work at the 25th Attack Wing (ATKW) on Creech AFB in Indian Springs, Nevada.
Skills Desired – Experience in executing budget in support of the mission and programs of assigned activities and organizations. Skill in gathering, assembling and analyzing reports, payroll records, inventory and supply data.
Salary Range
: $63,046 – $81,964.
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1‑year probationary period or a 2‑year trial period. Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will serve as a resource advisor/budget analyst performing day‑to‑day control and management involving the formulation, execution, and/or analysis of the organization’s budget and funding requirements.
Qualifications- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance.

https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./ - This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112‑81, Subtitle F‑Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
- Knowledge of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify, and execute assigned budget in support of the mission, structure, goals, work processes, and programs of assigned activities/organizations.
- Knowledge of automated data processing software programs and capabilities used to accomplish budget/funding tasks.
- Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing sources of factual information, such as that found in accounting reports, payroll records, work reports, or inventory and supply data.
- Ability to make oral presentations on the budget and conduct budget‑related training to a variety of audiences.
- Safeguards classified or sensitive budget‑related information and/or files.
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be of legal work age.
