Position:
Speech Therapist/Language Pathologist – Special Education Support Services (SESS)
Job Goal:
Provide speech and language services to eligible students district-wide in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The role supports student adjustment and their effective participation in the educational experience.
- Provide speech and language services to students per IEPs.
- Work within the district’s Special Education program for 183 days, 7.0 hours per day.
- Maintain program documentation and comply with district and state requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
; a Master’s degree is required for new initial licenses as of October 1, 2026. - Valid Nevada Driver’s License and Nevada Educator License.
- Certified Speech–Language Pathologist license, active and valid.
- Successful completion of a thorough background check and mandatory pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.
Work Schedule:
183 days, 7.0 hours per day during the 2026‑2027 school year.

Position Type:
Full‑time.
Salary Range: $51,323 – $103,407 (Special Education Fund).
New Hire Incentive: $2,000.
