What You ll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on review of records and clinical interviews
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, medical staff, social workers, and security personnel to coordinate care
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates
• Perform regular rounds in confinement areas to evaluate inmate adjustment and mental health needs
• Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral assessments
• Address inmate crises with appropriate mental health interventions
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress

What You Need
Required:

• Valid license or board eligibility as a Psychologist
• BLS certification (completed or pending) to meet facility compliance
• Social Security card for facility clearance
• Ability to perform all required functions at a professional pace

Preferred:

• Prior experience working in correctional or institutional settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
