Occupational Therapist School in Yerington, NV

The school year runs from August 20 through June 4, with a manageable caseload of 55-60 students.

• A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to design and adapt therapy plans based on each student’s needs
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 55-60 students, spanning elementary and secondary grades
• Administer assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Deliver therapy both individually and in small groups, tracking student progress throughout the academic year
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding intervention supports and classroom strategies
• Maintain timely documentation and comply with all regulations and policies

This is a full-time position with regular school hours, varying depending on grade level: elementary schedules are typically 8:30-3:15, while secondary schedules run from 7:30-2:15.
