Linen Attendant
The primary responsibilities of the Linen Attendant are to stock clean linen in locker rooms, clear soiled linen from the linen chute, receive linen trucks, unbox linen, and organize storage areas. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities include stocking clean linen and amenities in Housekeeping locker rooms, counting linen inventory on Housekeeping locker shelves to determine delivery quantities, clearing soiled linen from the linen chute and service landings when required, verifying clean linen deliveries from vendors to ensure accurate quantities, using carts to transport full and empty hampers from one tower to the other tower and other departments, organizing and stocking boxed linen and bedding storage areas, organizing hampers and keeping hallways clear, completing linen tracking and delivery paperwork as required, and performing all other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications to perform this job successfully include being enthusiastic and energetic, willing to comply with all rules and policies as set forth by the Hotel and department, having communication skills as needed to receive and respond to instructions given by the Housekeeping Department as well as applying to personal safety and guest safety, having at least six months of experience in general cleaning, having the ability to multitask and exhibit flexibility, using all PPE as designed and required for each area assigned, having a professional appearance and demeanor, working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, being able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral form, and meeting the minimum age requirement of 21.
Education and/or experience includes a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, the ability to speak and understand English, and physical demands that include constantly standing, eye/hand coordination, handling, wrist motion, hearing, speaking, seeing, reading, and bending. Constantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shift, constantly lifting and carrying trays up to a maximum of 15lbs. at mid body level, for distances up to a maximum of 500 ft.

Work environment includes work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment, occasional hot and cold temperature changes, regular exposure to a smoke-filled environment, working with others in close spaces, moderate to high noise levels, and walking/standing on tile/mats/carpet/cement.
Pay Range USD $16.00 - USD $16.00 /Hr. Tipped Position
