Guest Room Attendant

As a Guest Room Attendant at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional luxury experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service. You will ensure that guest rooms and suites are impeccably maintained, well‑stocked, and presented to reflect the five‑star quality expected at a Forbes‑rated resort.

• Clean, organize, and refresh guest rooms and suites according to Forbes luxury standards and resort protocols.
• Ensure all linens, towels, and amenities are replaced and stocked as per resort standards.
• Perform detailed inspections to ensure impeccable presentation, from perfectly pressed linens to dust‑free surfaces.
• Sanitize bathrooms, replenish toiletries, and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost‑and‑found items to the appropriate department.
• Follow proper handling and care procedures for all cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Anticipate guest needs by proactively restocking amenities and ensuring a welcoming room environment.
• Accommodate special guest requests such as extra linens, pillows, or personalized room preferences.
• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality while working in guest‑occupied rooms.
• Adhere to Forbes Travel Guide and resort housekeeping standards.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines to ensure a secure and clean environment.
• Ensure compliance with the resort’s sustainability initiatives and eco‑friendly cleaning practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort is preferred.
• Knowledge of Forbes Five‑Star standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑end hospitality environment.

• Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
