Holm Electric is seeking an organized, approachable HR Administrator who enjoys working with employees, managing details, and helping create a great employee experience. This is a hands-on, employee-facing role supporting recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, compliance and employee engagement across our Nevada operations.
The ideal person is someone employees feel comfortable approaching, who notices what is happening in the workplace, follows through on details, and enjoys being part of a growing organization.
The position is based in Incline Village and may require occasional travel to Holm Electric's Las Vegas location. The position is anticipated to be full-time; however, Holm Electric may consider a reduced schedule under the right circumstances.

What You'llDoWhile not a day-to-day description, the overall duties include:
- Partners with managers to identify staffing needs.
- Coordinates the recruitment process from job posting through candidate selection, hiring, and onboarding.
- Coordinates new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Applies working knowledge of employment laws and sound HR practices to day-to-day situations and seeks guidance when appropriate.
- Supports consistent, compliant employment practices, including performance management and separations.
- Assists management with policy interpretation and consistent application of employment practices.
- Maintains employee files and HRIS records and coordinates with Accounting onpayroll-related information.
- Coordinates the company's full cycle of health and welfare insurance benefits.
- Coordinates employee leave requests and maintains required documentation and tracking.
- Builds strong working relationships with employees and supervisors, staying connected to employee needs and identifying concerns or retention issues early.
- Partners with company leadership to support the day-to-day employee experience while fostering a compliant, responsive, and supportive work environment.
- Supports managers with employee development and performance-management processes.
- Continuously looks for ways to improve HR, communication, and employee-support processes.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, approachable, exercises sound judgment when handling confidential information, and knows when to seek additional guidance.
We prefer candidates that have the following education and experience.
- Threeor more years of hands-on Human Resources administration
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding and employee records
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
- Payroll experience is helpful
- Constructionindustry experience is a plus
