Westland Real Estate Group, a dynamic and growing real estate company, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling a wide range of litigation matters from inception to resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your litigation expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the company's continued success.

• Case assessment and strategy development
• Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conducting legal research and analysis
• Negotiating settlements
• Representing the company in court hearings and trials (if necessary)
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders on a variety of litigation-related issues
• Collaborate with outside counsel as needed
• Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
• 10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in-house or at a reputable law firm
• Strong knowledge of real estate law and related areas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
