In this role, the individual will play a crucial part in maintaining law and order within the community. • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect criminal activity
• Maintain care, custody, and control of incarcerated individuals
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses
• Make arrests and apprehend suspects
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents and activities
• Serve legal documents such as warrants and subpoenas
• Provide courtroom security and testify in court proceedings
• Conduct community outreach programs to educate the public on crime prevention

• Certificate or degree in law enforcement or related field preferred
• First aid, CPR, and conflict management training
• Experience with CCTV surveillance systems
• Strong knowledge of law enforcement procedures, techniques, and principles
• Ability to handle firearms safely and effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in report writing, documentation, English language, and grammar

Deputy:
Pay: $57,886 - $102,398 per year

Lateral Deputy:
May start up to $76,523 depending on experience
