** Nye County Landfill**, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a General Laborer at our landfill in
** Pahrump, NV**!
** The starting pay will be $17 per hour**. The pay range for this job category is $17 - $18 per hour. We also offer great family benefits, a 401k match, paid vacation, etc.
** The schedule will be Sunday - Thursday 7:30AM - 4:00PM.

** As a landfill laborer with us the minimum responsibilities are:
*** Checking trucks in and out of the landfill and directing traffic at site as necessary.
* Manual labor including paper picking, keeping landfill clean and presentable.
* Perform yard work including cutting weeds.
* Install temporary wind fences as required.
* Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
* Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
* Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
** What we need from you:
*** One year of stable employment history in a similar environment.
* Ability to work schedule in all weather conditions
* Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
