Join our Team. Our manufacturing team relies on highly skilled Maintenance Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of critical production equipment. You will support a wide range of automated, mechanical, and electrical systems, helping minimize downtime, improve performance, and keep operations running smoothly. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in supporting daily production, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.
You will collaborate closely with operators, technicians, quality engineers, and leadership to enhance safety, quality, and throughput. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, solving problems in real time, and continuously improving how products are built.
- Supporting daily manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
- Developing, documenting, and improving standard work instructions, process flows, and manufacturing procedures
- Assisting in designing tools, fixtures, and equipment to improve safety, quality, and throughput
- Collecting and analyzing production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Participating in rootcause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S)
- Supporting new product introductions by defining manufacturing requirements and validating processes
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure smooth production and adherence to quality standards
- Maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Production Support & Troubleshooting- Supporting daily manufacturing operations and resolving process issues
- Implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve stability
- Working directly with operators and technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Developing and improving standard work instructions, process flows, and procedures
- Designing tools, fixtures, and equipment to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
- Identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvements
- Collecting and analyzing production data to drive decision making
- Participating in Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives
- Conducting rootcause analysis to address quality or performance issues
- Supporting manufacturing readiness for new products
- Defining process requirements and validating production methods
- Ensuring smooth transition from prototype to fullscale production
- Collaborating with quality, operations, engineering, and leadership teams
- Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Supporting audits, documentation updates, and compliance activities
Required Qualifications
- Have bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have ability to work effectively on the production floor and communicate across technical and nontechnical teams
- Have familiarity with CAD tools (Solid Works, Creo, or similar)
- Have basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, fabrication, or automation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or coop experience in a manufacturing environment
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with data analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, or similar)
- Knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA, or control plans
