QA Scheduling Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Plant Production Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at the Dayton plant. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of production workflows, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The coordinator will manage batch scheduling, maintain production supplies, update key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure all documentation is current. This position involves close collaboration with labeling personnel and production teams.

Responsibilities

* Generate and manage batch tickets required for manufacturing execution.

* Review and validate total demand requirements for product batches to ensure optimal batch size and warehouse allocation.

* Respond to product requests from authorized sources, prioritizing batches and providing visibility.

* Determine manufacturing resource requirements and schedule resources for optimal utilization.

* Review resource constraints, such as materials, labor, and equipment, adjusting schedules as necessary while considering contingency plans.

* Notify relevant parties if scheduling modifications affect customer promise dates.

* Verify production batch tickets for accuracy in allocations, notifying departments for corrections as needed.

* Input daily information for completed production batches into spreadsheets for monitoring batch information and downtime KPIs.

* Provide backup support to the Administrative Assistant as needed.

* Collaborate with labeling personnel to ensure labels are accurate and properly printed.

* Participate in the Total Quality and ERP Process.

* Actively engage in hazard recognition and injury prevention by adhering to safety rules and reporting all incidents.

* Follow environmental regulations to manage hazardous materials and waste responsibly.

* Commit to the safety and quality programs of the company.

Essential Skills

* High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

* Strong problem-solving skills.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals, and safety rules.

* Competence in using a computer for company-required processes and training.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience in production planning and coordination.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves working at a plant with minimal physical activity required. The position requires extended computer usage, up to 8 hours a day, but does not involve unusual environmental, lifting, or exertion requirements. The work environment emphasizes safety and adherence to environmental regulations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
