FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, hourly

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Minden, NV

Hours/Days: M-Th, 10 hours | F, 8 hours (optional overtime)

Public Restroom Company  designs, builds, and installs prefabricated restrooms and related buildings for parks and outdoor spaces. We are currently looking for a Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our team at our Minden plant. This position will assist with welding and fabricating the steel frames and roofs of our buildings.

• Weldingandfabricationofstructuralsteelbeamsforbuildingframes
• Weldingandfabricationoftubularsteelframesfor High Vandal Resistantroofs
• Plasmacutting
• Bandsawcutting
• Design,fabricate,andassembleothercomponentsasnecessary
• Performavarietyofmanuallabortasksincidentaltotradeandcraftworkrequiringapplicationofknowledgeandexperiencegainedonsimilarassignments
• RemainsalertforhazardsinvolvedonthejobsiteandobserveOSHAsafety,MSHAandoperatingrulesandregulations

• 1+ year of experience in welding/metal fabrication, preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be able to weld steel beams and frames
• GMAW-S certification preferred
• Strong working knowledge of basic hand tools
• Must be comfortable in an factory setting
• Must be willing to be cross trained in other functions/skills such as carpentry, maintenance, concrete, etc.
• High school diploma/equivalent, preferred

• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, use hands for 8+ hours
