Healthy Communities Coalition's (HCC) RISE Youth Mental Health Corps (YMHC) Ameri Corps program is an innovative program that places RISE YMHC Ameri Corps members in youth serving host sites across the state of Nevada to support youth mental health and improve educational outcomes through strengthening connections, improving resiliency, soft skills development and referrals to resources. As part of this journey, RISE YMHC Ameri Corps members are trained as mental health Community Health Workers and will earn certificates of training in skills that will apply towards career development in mental health related fields.
