ResponsibilitiesThis Emergency Department Registered Nurse opportunity is full time and offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. The role provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department, coordinates care planning with other disciplines, and delivers comprehensive psychosocial, physical, and general care. Responsibilities include determining care priorities based on patient needs and system factors, communicating with ED physicians about patient status, and responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
Job Duties- Provides direct patient care and evaluates outcomes.
- Consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Performs a head‑to‑toe assessment on all patients, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and the general population.
- Adequately assesses and reassesses pain, utilizes appropriate pain management techniques, and educates patients and families regarding pain management.
- Uses the triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care, accurately assigning triage categories.

- Two (2) years of ED experience required.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Current BCLS certification.
- ACLS certified within six (6) months of hire.
- PALS certified within six (6) months of hire.
- ENPC and TNCC certifications are optional.
