Step into a vital role supporting students and staff at a centrally located high school near Yerington, NV. As a full-time contract LPN/LVN, youll play an essential part in fostering a safe and healthy educational environment.

• Active and unencumbered LPN or LVN license
• Previous school nursing experience or experience working with children and adolescents is highly valued
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with students, staff, and families
• Experience with individualized care plans and education on health conditions
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential, if applicable or required

• Administer first aid, daily medications, and health procedures to students as prescribed
• Monitor and document student medical needs, ensuring compliance with state and district regulations
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide appropriate care and referrals
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support students physical and emotional well-being
• Promote health education and preventive healthcare within the school community
• Maintain accurate records, health logs, and immunization documentation

Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $43.42.
