Responsibilities include delivering direct student care, managing medication administration, responding to health emergencies, and developing care plans in collaboration with educators and families. You’ll promote a safe, healthy environment through preventive health measures, health education, and close monitoring of student needs.

Ideal candidates bring experience working in school settings, providing compassionate care to children or adolescents, and strong communication skills. A valid LPN or LVN license is required, with preference for Certified School Nurses (CSN). Adaptability, organization, and a dedication to student health and wellness are essential.

• Active LPN or LVN license (required)
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential highly desirable
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in health documentation, care planning, and coordinating with education staff

• Provide direct medical care for students and staff
• Manage daily medication administration and maintain records
• Act as a health resource and advocate within the high school environment
• Implement individualized healthcare plans
• Address urgent health issues and provide first aid as needed
• Participate in health screenings and immunization record reviews
