This on-site Veterinarian role is located in Gardnerville, NV and involves providing medical, surgical, and preventive care to small animals in a general practice setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, prescribing medications, and recommending appropriate diagnostic tests. The veterinarian will conduct routine and elective surgeries, oversee anesthesia and pain management, and provide follow-up care. Additional duties include educating clients on pet health and nutrition, maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and compassionate clinic environment.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and eligibility for Nevada veterinary licensure.
• Experience in small animal medicine, surgery, and preventive care, including routine vaccinations and wellness exams.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to interpret diagnostics such as laboratory tests, radiographs, and other imaging.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to explain treatment plans, educate clients, and collaborate with the veterinary team.
• Commitment to animal welfare, ethical practice, and delivering respectful, inclusive care to diverse clients and their pets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage multiple cases, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and stay current with advances in veterinary medicine.
• Previous experience in a general practice or small animal clinic is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
