- Developing laser timing tools.
- Contribute to the research, dissemination and educational activities at FemtoMAX.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of work and safety routines.
- Being part of a research team carrying out experiments using femtosecond time-resolved X-ray techniques.
- Support beamline outreach program.
Qualifications:
- A PhD degree in a relevant subject (physics, chemistry, materials science).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in carrying out ultrafast laser-pump/hard X-ray probe experiments at large-scale X-ray facilities.
- Minimum 5 years data analysis experience with Matlab and/or Python.
- Knowledge of non-linear optics, THz generation, THz characterization and laser beam diagnostics.
- Experience with laser timing tools (cross-correlator, streak camera).
- Experience in performing THz pump / X-ray probe studies.
