Host Person - Café Del Soul; Part Time

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests at tables according to guest preferences, table availability, and rotation guidelines.
• Ensure business flow and distribute customers to servers by following management directions, fair seating rotation, and communicating business volume changes.
• Provide guests with menus, inform them of restaurant specials, and highlight featured items.
• Coordinate with food servers, bus persons, and other restaurant personnel to deliver guest service.
• Operate the electronic cash register system accurately, immediately accounting for payment transactions and transferring monies to and from the main credit cage.
• Keep the cash register and host area stocked with necessary equipment, forms, and supplies.
• Perform all job functions in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures manual to ensure consistent execution of company and department standards.
• Maintain regular attendance for scheduled work.
• Answer phone calls and take to-go orders.
• Follow the Thoughtful Service Model at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• $15.00 per hour
