Job Summary
The Retail Manager oversees the planning, directing, organizing, and managing of all areas within the Retail Department—including the Gift Shop, Convenience Store/Gas Station, Arcade, Admin Office, Retail Warehouse, and vendor relationships. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, merchandising strategy, and leadership excellence. You will drive revenue, elevate the guest experience, and inspire a high‑performing team while upholding Caesars Entertainment’s Family Style Service standards.
Additional duties may be assigned by the Director.
- Five to seven years of retail experience required
- Minimum two years of management experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Valid Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card
- Strong communication skills and a well‑groomed, professional appearance
- Ability to analyze trends, financial data, and product performance
- Excellent employee relations and guest service skills
- Lift up to 50 lbs.; push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Bend, stoop, twist, reach, walk, and stand for long periods
- Navigate stairs and confined spaces
- Work in hot, cold, and secondhand smoke environments
- Tolerate high‑noise areas and maintain accuracy in money/chip handling
- Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Understand, read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities Key Job Functions Operational & Service Excellence- Maintain consistent, high‑quality service levels across all retail outlets
- Ensure all locations are clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Develop and implement retail concepts based on market research and guest trends
- Execute product extension strategies that align with casino themes and brand identity
- Analyze buying trends and guest preferences to determine optimal product mix
- Enforce all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Survey, select, and curate merchandise that drives sales and guest engagement
- Seek new product sources and negotiate favorable vendor terms
- Manage inventory levels to ensure strong turnover and minimal stock‑outs
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and warehouse operations
- Conduct financial analysis of product performance and prepare monthly reports
- Supervise work units and ensure efficient daily operations
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that supports retention
- Ensure employees have the tools, resources, and knowledge to succeed
- Effectively handle employee concerns and performance issues
- Deliver warm, attentive, and consistent service across all retail touchpoints
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency

- Control labor costs and manage staffing levels strategically
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation
