$500 sign-on bonus available.
PURPOSE/FUNCTION/SUMMARY (TRAINING NEEDS)
The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales Team by coordinating communication between customers, sales, production, shipping, and service. This role is responsible for accurate order entry and assisting customers by providing information and updates regarding order status, availability, and returns. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable on the phone, and interested in learning about manufacturing, tools, and machinery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Communicate with customers via phone and email to provide order status, lead times, pricing, and availability information.
- Accurately enter sales orders in the IBM order entry system.
- Maintain and update customer, contact, and company information in Hub Spot CRM and IBM.
- Process return authorizations (RMAs) and returns.
- Take and properly handle customer payment information.
- Send manuals, documentation, and other information to customers.
- Build knowledge of tools, machines, and manufacturing processes.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Adapt with a sense of urgency to changing customer and internal demands.
- Develop professional and responsive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
REQUIRED
- Education/Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Experience/
Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic Office applications.
- Experience with CRM systems preferred (Hub Spot a plus).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone.
- Interest in manufacturing, tools, or industrial equipment preferred.
- Ability to learn technical products and internal systems.
