Job Summary

RAM Enterprise, Inc., a leader in the material handling industry, is seeking an experienced NW – Sales Accounts Manager to manage and grow customer relations throughout Northern Nevada and the surrounding northwest regions.

This position is responsible for developing new business, retaining and expanding existing accounts, and driving revenue across both product lines and value-added service solutions. This role requires strong technical sales acumen, relationship management skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

This is a salaried, exempt position in Elko, NV, reporting to the Corporate Sales Manager.

Key

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow new and existing customer accounts by providing consultative sales support for RAM products and services.
  • Proactively identify, develop, and close new customer opportunities across assigned territory.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, service, marketing, and customer service) to develop accounts strategies and solutions.
  • Identify the customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products, service, and maintenance solutions.
  • Effectively manage multiple open quotations and drive opportunities to order completion.
  • Resolve customer issues in coordination with management and internal support teams.
  • Communicate regularly with manufacturing partners and vendors to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical support.
  • Develop and deliver customer presentations focused on features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of profit margins and pricing strategies.
  • Participate in annual budget planning and forecasting by customer and product/service category.
  • Provide accurate activity reports to management, including customer interactions and pipeline updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Travel within the region to customer sites as required and obtain access to customer properties.
  • Deliver products to customers when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial, mining, conveyor, or material handling products and services.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product and service information effectively.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Requirements
  • Must reside in Northern Nevada.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in industrial or mining-related sales
    , with account management responsibility, preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
