Phoenix - Pit Sampler

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Open Pit Samplerto join our Phoenix Operations team. The successful candidate will The Open Pit Sampler will work in an outdoor, mine setting, which may include exposure to large equipment, proximity to highwalls, working on uneven surfaces, working in extreme temperatures. A successful candidate must demonstrate safety as a priority and be self-motivated.

Personal protective equipment is required when performing this work.

• Collect Daily Open Pit Sampling, Trench sampling, Grab Samples & Proof Samples.
• Keep current with maps and tags of drill patterns.
• Keep current with process sampling as needed.
• Provide survey support and relief when needed.
• Organize and prioritize daily workload for maximum efficiency.
• Achieve Part 107 Pilots license in first six months of employment.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds required
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision required
• Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate required
• Basic computer skills required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
  required
• Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions
  required
