Position OverviewMining Americas Inc. is seeking a motivated Environmental Technician to join our team at Pan Mine near Ely, Nevada. This position plays an important role in supporting environmental compliance and stewardship while helping ensure our mining operations are conducted safely, responsibly, and in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

What You’ll do- Conduct groundwater, process water, and environmental sampling
- Perform landfill, waste management, stormwater, and site inspections
- Monitor and document environmental compliance activities, including opacity observations
- Assist with spill prevention, response, documentation, and follow-up
- Coordinate carbon fines sampling and recycling activities
- Support wildlife management and biological monitoring efforts
- Utilize environmental monitoring systems, including AVEVA, Landfolio, and Intelex
- Assist with environmental permitting, inspections, and regulatory reporting
- Prepare environmental reports and maintain accurate compliance records
- Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and safety departments to promote environmental compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to affiliated project sites as needed
- Associate degree or coursework in Environmental Science, Geology, Natural Resources, or a related field preferred
- Environmental compliance, mining, industrial, or field experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
