Owners John Morris and Brad Rambo wanted a place where family, friends, and colleagues would enjoy time spent both on and off the track. Morris and Rambo purchased the facility in 2004, with a 2.2-mile track and two storage tents situated on 193 acres.

Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club is now the longest racetrack in North America and second-longest in the world at over 9-miles across its 933 acres. It is much more than a racetrack, it is the ultimate driver’s paradise, where anyone can enjoy the wonder of motorsports just outside the neon of Las Vegas. Whether guests visit the facility as members or as driving students associated with our OEM sponsored programs, we strive for their customer experience to be second to none.

Work as part of a team that is responsible for two main functions. Staff the main entry gate and welcome, sign-in and properly wristband students, members and guests. Function as part of the security team to patrol the property and monitor security cameras. Always provide a high level of customer service and discretion.

• Be a positive team player with the ability to take direction and complete tasks.
• Patrol private and public premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, members, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Warn unauthorized persons of trespass or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using whatever means are necessary.
• Responsible for patrolling the premises of residences and buildings to detect suspicious activity, assist tenants, and ensure the safety of occupants.
• Use radios and cell phones to stay in contact with security personnel and other staff.
• Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use.
• Assist guests with basic needs and general customer service-related tasks.
• Assist all guests/members with condo registration.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Experience in security practices or procedure preferred.
• Experience communicating and interacting with the public preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
• Ability to work efficiently and thoroughly.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.

• At least three years of relevant experience is required.

• Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds unassisted. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated as light work.
