SSR Mining is seeking Mine Maintenance Electricians for their Marigold Mine in Valmy, Nevada. These professionals will play a key role in maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, skilled in troubleshooting, and experienced with high voltage mining systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English using all standard forms of business communication
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Clear understanding and willingness to observe and practice company SOPs and policies
• Understanding of failure and wear analysis
• Strong understanding of safety policies and procedures relating to mine equipment and maintenance practices (e.g., guarding, blocking, lock out tag out)
• Knowledge and skills to operate and understand diagnostic equipment including computerized instrumentation
• Ability to work safely and recognize electrical hazards
• Ability to examine tools and equipment for safety and install safety devices
• Ability to read electrical prints and schematics and to utilize appropriate test equipment
• Ability to utilize basic hand tools
• Consistent attendance
• Valid Driver License

• A minimum of 2 years electrical experience in a mining environment
• MSHA electrical cards
• Strong experience in heavy equipment electrical systems
• Strong background with P&H Shovels, Komatsu 930 haul trucks high voltage electrical
