Telematics Installer – Equipment Share, Carlin, NV

Equipment Share is hiring a Telematics Installer to install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, and customer assets.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Overtime pay available after 40 hours. The role may require on‑call scheduling with additional compensation.

• Install telematics system and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, and customer assets.
• Operate machinery for testing during installation.
• Remove and replace ignition systems, integrating communication between keypad and telematics systems.
• Handle installation scenarios ranging from basic (power, ignition, ground) to complex (custom wiring harnesses accessing CAN network).
• Identify and resolve problems; analyze information and develop alternative solutions.
• Travel to client sites and Equipment Share rental yards in the region for installations.
• Advocate for Equipment Share platform and brand while on the job and in the field.
• Work outside business hours and on weekends when necessary.

• Must obtain an MSHA certification paid by Equipment Share within 30 days of start.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, skilled with hands, tools, and vehicle electrical systems.
• Experience as electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, or similar.
• Mobile electronics installer, automotive electronics technician, or 12V technician experience.
• Own necessary tools; specialty tools will be provided.
• Clean driving record and background‑check pass.
• Will travel within a 250‑mile radius for up to a week at a time.
• Physically able to drive, maneuver in tight spaces, bend, squat, walk long distances, and lift more than 25 lbs.
• May be required to be clean shaven for certain worksites.
• Position is safety‑sensitive; drug screen required.
