Job Summary
The Nevada Department of Corrections is seeking to fill a Maintenance Repair Worker 3 at Ely State Prison. Incumbents will be performing basic carpentry work; patch roofs, remove walls, frame; install doors, building forms and pour concrete; build shelves, repair furniture, replace damages floor tiles, install and repair locks. Perform basic interior and exterior painting work; basic electrical work; basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on pumps, valves, fans, and other mechanical equipment;
basic equipment maintenance and repair work to maintain building and grounds equipment and vehicles in proper working order; basic welding and machining work. Position works Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, holidays off.
