Responsibilities – Heavy-Duty Technician:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Chevrolet trucks and SUVs, including diesel and heavy-duty models
- Conduct engine, transmission, brake, and suspension work with manufacturer-level accuracy
- Use GM diagnostic tools and follow factory repair procedures
- Document work performed and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate service
- Stay current on GM training and certifications
Qualifications/Requirements – Heavy-Duty Technician:
- ASE or GM certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty automotive repair, preferably in a dealership setting
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drive trains, and electrical systems
- Ability to lift heavy components and operate shop equipment safely
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
