Red Bear Mechanical is a growing, locally owned HVAC contractor serving Carson City and the surrounding area. We are adding an HVAC Installation Specialist to our team for residential and light commercial projects. Position Responsibilities Complete residential and light commercial HVAC equipment installations

Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and related components

Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment while protecting the customer's property

Perform system start-ups and verify proper equipment operation

Identify and correct installation-related issues

Assist with system maintenance and troubleshooting when needed

Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and applicable codes

Maintain clean and organized jobsites

Communicate professionally with homeowners and commercial customers

Coordinate with other installers and team members to complete projects efficiently

Maintain accurate job documentation using company-provided technology

Qualifications

Previous hands-on residential or light commercial HVAC installation experience EPA Certification required

Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and installation practices

Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities

Comfortable using standard HVAC installation tools and equipment

Ability to safely perform physical work indoors and outdoors throughout the year Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently or with a crew Professional communication and customer-service skillsNATE certification is a plus Boiler and/or plumbing experience is highly desirable

Compensation & Benefits $20.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
