Drill and Shovel Mechanics - 5-4 Rotation - Valmy, NV

SSR Mining is seeking Drill and Shovel Mechanics for their Valmy, Nevada operations. These professionals will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidates are experienced in hydraulic and electrical systems, thrive in a team environment, and are committed to safety and environmental stewardship.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English using all standard forms of business communication
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment supporting a 24/7 operation in strenuous physical conditions, both indoors and outdoors, day and night shift
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of failure and wear analysis
• Strong understanding of safety policies and procedures relating to mine equipment and maintenance practices (e.g., guarding, blocking, lock out tag out)
• Own and maintain required personal tools
• Valid Driver License required

• Strong experience in Shovel and Drill hydraulic and electrical systems
• Five years’ experience in a mine maintenance environment
• Experience with Cummins, Cat, and MTU/Detroit engines
