Family Advocacy Nurse

Choctaw Global seeks a Family Advocacy Nurse to support military families through trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care. In this role, you will assess family risk and safety, coordinate prevention and intervention services, and provide health education on family wellness, child protection, and domestic abuse. You will collaborate with commanders, medical staff, and community agencies, maintain accurate documentation, and support program reporting. This position blends clinical expertise with advocacy to strengthen family resilience and advance Choctaw Global's mission-driven, community-focused values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments of family risk, safety, and wellness needs
• Develop and monitor individualized care and safety plans for at-risk families
• Provide trauma-informed health education on child protection, domestic abuse, and family wellness
• Coordinate referrals and case management with medical, behavioral health, command, and community partners
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR and program systems
• Participate in case staffing, case review boards, and multidisciplinary meetings
• Support data collection, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance for Family Advocacy services
• Deliver group trainings and briefings on family violence prevention and response
• Serve as an advocate for victims and families, ensuring access to appropriate services
• Promote Choctaw Global and Choctaw Nation values of integrity, respect, and community in all interactions
