Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver role with duties including order processing, product preparation, and delivery responsibilities within designated areas. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and the ability to navigate for deliveries.

• Operate all equipment as required for the role.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product; receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car to customer locations within designated delivery area.
• Deliver pizzas within designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements with speed.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area; ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when delivering and performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from coolers to hot work areas; possible sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust; hot surfaces and sharp edges; moving mechanical parts.
• Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; driving and couponing in varying conditions.

• Standing and walking for extended periods; high mobility in grocery/food service settings.
• Delivery personnel travel between store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; shelving and moving product as needed (e.g., cases up to 3' x 1.5', stacked to 72" high).
• Pushing/pulling tasks with dollies and trays; occasional climbing of stairs or ladders for signage and maintenance.
• Eye-hand coordination for dough shaping, pizza assembly, and use of pizza tools.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record acceptable to the company.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
