Cenveo is seeking a Billing Specialist located in New Albany, IN. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably with an emphasis on Accounting.

Job Summary

Under close supervision and guidance, processes invoices and bills customers in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with well‑defined procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (
* Essential Functions)
  • Collect and verify necessary documentation to accurately prepare invoices for customers, including sales invoices, freight costs, and sales taxes.
  • Enter billing information into the billing system while ensuring accuracy and correctness.
  • Research and provide specific information regarding invoicing and customer accounts, such as account status, count, change orders, costs, and invoices for varied inquiries.
  • Perform basic clerical duties including sorting, filing, and mailing invoices to customers.
  • May run daily reports and perform other duties as assigned.
Other (Non‑Essential) Functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
  • Environment is typically general office, though the incumbent may spend short periods in manufacturing environments with exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels, and temperature variations.
  • Occasional exposure to one or more unpleasant or hazardous conditions.

    High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient understanding of accounting principles and functions.
  • Typically possesses 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Generally performs single‑function tasks of moderate size and scope.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information one‑on‑one and in small group settings.
  • Advanced mathematical skills, including basic algebra and geometry.
  • Position requires general office and PC/computer skills, and use of calculator.
