Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to join our growing team. Position SummaryThe Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate freight billing, customer invoicing, collections support, and carrier payment processing. This position works closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure invoices are processed accurately and payments are handled efficiently.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
What You'll Do- Process freight billing, customer invoices, and carrier payments accurately and timely
- Review billing documentation, verify rates, and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Support accounts receivable activities, collections efforts, and daily deposit processing
- Monitor unbilled freight reports to ensure timely customer invoicing
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve billing-related issues
- 1–3 years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting support, or related experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting or business software systems; transportation or logistics experience preferred
