Overview

Talis Group’s client is a global leader in providing innovative technology for the manufacturing industry. They are dedicated to advancing research and innovation by delivering high-quality, reliable, and state-of-the-art solutions. They are seeking an experienced Order Entry Specialist to join their team at their Jeffersonville, IN location. This role will accurately enter customer orders into their ERP software systems & requires high attention to detail & organizational skills.

This is a full time, direct hire with a salary range of $40k-$50k (depending on experience) plus full benefits. Hours are Monday-Friday,

Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter customer orders into ERP systems in a timely manner.
  • Validate order requirements and ensure all approvals and exceptions are properly documented.
  • Maintain order integrity and compliance with established processes.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Key Account Success Managers (KASM), and Customer Success Managers (CSM) to resolve order discrepancies.
  • Escalate issues as needed to support on-time fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor order status throughout the fulfillment process and communicate updates as required.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to confirm delivery schedules and resolve shipping issues.
  • Maintain accurate order documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports related to order volume, accuracy, and turnaround time.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and documentation.
  • Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems and order management processes.
  • Working knowledge of purchase order requirements, Incoterms, and basic logistics workflows.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams.
  • Prior experience in order entry, data processing, or administrative support preferred.
  • Ability to meet productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time performance metrics
