As the Assistant Business Office Manager, you'll provide administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth operation of our Skilled Nursing Facility, including:
- Assisting with resident billing, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and employee benefits administration
- Supporting Medicaid and Medicare billing functions and maintaining required documentation
- Serving as a professional point of contact for residents, families, vendors, and payors regarding routine financial and administrative inquiries
- Assisting with admissions paperwork, resident trust accounts, and personnel file maintenance
- Maintaining accurate records and helping ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Providing general office support and assisting the Business Office Manager with daily operations and special projects
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of administrative, accounting, payroll, or business office experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing processes preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn healthcare software systems
