Position: Experienced Dental CAD/CAM Technician – 3Shape or Exocad Specialist

Join our innovative digital dental lab as a skilled Dental CAD/CAM Designer! This pivotal position focuses on crafting precise, lifelike dental prosthetics from intraoral scans. You'll combine in-depth knowledge of natural tooth anatomy with advanced digital tools to produce restorations that excel in fit, durability, bite function, and visual appeal—delivering outstanding results for our dentist partners.

We're looking for a detail-focused digital artisan with strong expertise in dental form and function, capable of handling challenging restorative projects with accuracy and creativity.

Core Duties Include
  • Creating full-anatomic designs for crowns, bridges, onlays/inlays, and veneers in leading CAD platforms.
  • Developing custom implant abutments and screw-retained crowns, with careful attention to emergence contours and biomechanical strength.
  • Building virtual diagnostic wax‑ups to support treatment planning and give patients a realistic smile preview.
  • Ensuring designs reflect proper occlusion, natural tooth contours, and dynamic jaw movement for optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Overseeing digital file workflows: importing STL scans, finalizing models, and exporting ready-to-mill or 3D‑print files.
  • Partnering closely with lab technicians and prescribing dentists to incorporate feedback and adjust designs as needed.
  • Advanced command of 3

Shape and/or Exocad software, including specialized design libraries and modules.
  • Thorough grasp of dental morphology to digitally recreate lifelike, esthetic tooth shapes.
  • Proficiency in adjusting critical settings like cement space, wall thickness minimums, and connector dimensions to promote long‑term restoration success.
  • At least 5 years of hands‑on CAD/CAM experience in a dental laboratory environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially on margins, contacts, and occlusal surfaces, to reduce the need for dentist adjustments.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to software enhancements, emerging digital workflows, and new restorative materials (zirconia, lithium disilicate/E.max, PMMA, etc.).
