Role OverviewThe OSL Site Coordinator is responsible for assisting the SBS Director with the delivery of after school programming for middle school or grade school youth. Hours are usually 3 to 6 p.m. five days a week. Works with the Director on all aspects of programming and is capable and willing to step into that role when needed.
Responsibilities- Assist Director in enrolling clients and ensuring activities are implemented effectively and in a structured manner.
- Plan field trips and Family Nights, manage and complete administrative tasks.
- Research and identify interests, needs, abilities and developmental levels of youth in order to develop and deliver daily direct service in the after school program.
- Provide mentoring, help with homework, and lead engaging group activities that reflect the academic needs from school day learning and cultural diversity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field or equivalent experience working with youth.
