Job Title:
Product Development Engineer
Contribute significantly to the design, development, and validation of connector solutions, including board-to-board, cable, power, high-speed, and panel mount products. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as purchasing, quality, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, process engineering, electroplating, suppliers, and product management. Hands‑on problem‑solving during product development and addressing quality concerns are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and validate connector solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for product development.
- Identify and solve problems during product development and address quality concerns.
- Adhere to corporate engineering standards, including documentation, file management, part modeling, and part simulation.
- Manage projects with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed.
- Travel to vendors and facilities as required.
- Contribute to molding and stamping of new products.
- 3–5+ years of experience in design, development, and manufacturing of complex assemblies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications:
PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. - Experience in data analysis using Minitab and/or JMP.
- Required experience in 3D software, with a preference for Solid Works.
- Solid understanding and application of physics and engineering fundamentals.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with data‑driven root‑cause analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in electrical connector design is preferred.
- Experience in plastic injection molding and progressive die stamping is desired.
- Solid Works knowledge is preferred.
The role is based in a highly automated manufacturing environment with flexible working hours. The position requires lifting up to 20 pounds and the ability to sit for extended periods. Pay and BenefitsPay range: $ – $ per year.

Group basic life, short‑term and long‑term disability; vacation – after 90 days you receive 3 weeks prorated per year, after 5 years 4 weeks, after 10 years 5 weeks; 9 paid holidays; personal days.
