Key Responsibilities- Develop standards and procedures to improve the reliability of manufacturing processes.
- Lead root‑cause problem solving for operational NCRs (non‑conformance reports) and customer complaints, and identify measures to prevent recurrence (CAPAs).
- Support operational excellence initiatives, including Total Productive Maintenance programs such as Autonomous Maintenance.
- Leverage technical mastery of manufacturing to aid successful new product launches, understand processing times (routers), and implement process improvements.
- Use appropriate problem‑solving techniques (Design of Experiments, RCFA, FMEA, etc.) to determine root causes of manufacturing failures and initiate corrective action.
- Coach personnel on best practices and techniques to improve first‑time right production.
- Understand process data, observations from the manufacturing floor, and technical aspects of the manufacturing process to drive systemic improvements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, technical operations, engineering, and quality.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations engineering, or process improvement within an industrial or military environment.
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques such as Statistical Process Control, Fault Tree Analysis, Fishbone, and Six Sigma (DMAIC).
- Strong quantitative acumen and ability to perform data collection, trending, and analysis.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with business partners and working groups.
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
- Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proven track record of implementing and sustaining operations systems, methods, skills, and behaviors.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify improvement opportunities using data and observation.
- Experience leading or participating in cross‑functional change initiatives aligned with industry best practices.
Work occurs in manufacturing, pilot lab, and general office environments, which may occasionally require lifting up to 35lb. Exposure to disagreeable elements is negligible. Frequent work in pilot plants and production facilities. Overnight travel for training or to support Pharmavite regional facilities is anticipated: up to 10% routine travel and up to 25% for special or new projects.
Compensation & BenefitsNational Target Base Pay Range: $80,000.00 – $. For candidates in California and the New York metro area, the target range is $88,000.00 – $. Compensation will also include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) match, and other wellness benefits.
